Post image for emptiness

emptiness

by sam on 19 January, 2010

I spend a lot of time taking photos of people. I find that people convey emotion, feeling, a sense, but it’s also possible to convey some of that feeling without people. I find it to be a good mental exercise to go out in to the world to capture photographs of the world without people.

Maybe the image gives a sense of the grandness of that around us. Of how the weather can hold pleasant surprises.

The images might give a sense of place, like this image of Prague.

Maybe the images show an individual’s personality without showing them.

Or the invitation posed by the open road.

Or the arching reach of Mother Nature.

Beautiful sequence of images, emptiness is somewhat underrated, I find…

Eloquent. Beautiful. Spacious.

Love it!

I was just thinking about this today. Well, I probably think about this every day. I love how you presented it, and illustrated the concept with such beautiful images, in your unique way. Bravo!
